Will you keep the pricing information up-to-date? It's due to change in April 2010.

Isn't Standard Parcel delivery only for items up to 1kg?

According to Royal Mail's current pricing system, "Parcels up to 20kg in weight may be sent using this service with a maximum length of 1.5 metres." So you can send heavy items using this service. This has been confirmed through Royal Mail Postage Prices.

This is an excellent App. Is there any plan to include Printed Paper Rates for Europe and Rest of the World?

We are working on an update that supports "Printed Paper". Update: App v1.2 with this feature is now available in the App Store.

Why the weights for UK jump from 2kg to 4kg and increase for every 2kg afterwards?

According to Royal Mail "Each additional 2kg or part there of", above 2kg, is charged at a fixed rate. So 2.25kg will be charged the same as 4kg.

Is it possible to enter exact weight?

We are working on this feature at the moment. Update: App v1.5 with this feature is now available in the App Store.

Is it possible to select destination by country name?

We are working on this feature at the moment. The finished product will be released to App Store as soon as our QC procedure is passed.

Why only two oversea destinations (EU and World), how about other countries?

Royal mail uses two rates for its oversea shipments. Shipping to all countries inside the EU uses the EU rate, while shipping to countries outside EU entails "the rest of the World" rate. This is sufficient in most situations. However, there are certain services available for a specific destination (such as Ireland 24). We will find ways to integrate such information through future App updates (see the above Q).

Will this App support Parcelforce rates?

Parcelforce shipment rate is location dependent, and requires an internet connection using the online price finder. We will definitely look at how this can be added to the App without sacrificing the simplicity of the current user interface.
